SCVTV’s Community Corner Season 6, Episode 29

In this episode of SCVTV’s Community Corner, co-hosts Carrie Lujan and Dave Caldwell kick things off with a recap of recent (and soggy) community events including Bridge to Home’s Turkey Trot and Light Up Main Street. They also give us a sneak preview of Santa Clarita Symphony Orchestra’s family-friendly concert, “Sounds of the Season.”

We then catch up with SCV Water Agency as it gears up for its planned maintenance at Castaic Lake and what that means for SCV Water customers.

Bowman High School dispels the stigma and myths associated with continuation high schools and even brought along an inspirational (and familiar-looking) alumnus whose experience at Bowman changed the trajectory of his life.

The city of Santa Clarita invites you take a trip “Under the Big Top: Where the Story Never Stops,” at this year’s Family Literacy Festival!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as we get a sneak preview of the highly-anticipated Henry Mayo Holiday Home Tour and find out how you can help support the Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Center.

And finally, we hear how a mother-daughter team took a 25-acre ranch and – along with their animals – turned it into Press Paws Ranch, a place of healing for cancer patients and their families.
