The Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative helped brighten the holiday for local veterans and their families by distributing 135 Thanksgiving turkeys and meal baskets.

Volunteers spent last Thursday prepping the baskets, and the Collaborative teamed up with the VFW for Saturday’s distribution. Even the Young Marines joined in helping carry turkeys straight to veterans’ cars.
