In this Community Corner mini episode, student guest hosts Casey Gagnon and Phineas Hertz from West Ranch High School revisit segments from Community Corner Season 6. We take a look at The Painted Turtle, Family Promise of SCV, get in tune with the Santa Clarita Veterans Guitar Alliance, and chat with Press Paws Ranch.

Things start off at Episode 16 with April Tani from The Painted Turtle, who shares what the organization does to assist children with serious medical conditions to give them an amazing, free, and safe camp experience.

Next, we look back at Episode 28 featuring Family Promise of SCV’s new Executive Director, Carmen Garcia, and Board President, Kevin Petrie They share how the organization helps families in need through the resources they offer year-round.

We then go to Episode 26, showcasing the Santa Clarita Veterans Guitar Alliance. Learn about Bruce Geiger and Tom Lamog, who share how the gift of music is helping SCV vets with PTSD.

Lastly, we take a look at Episode 29, where Robin Lee and Olivia Blue from Press Paws Ranch fill us in on how their nonprofit organization helps comfort cancer patients through animal therapy.
