Season 7 of SCVTV’s Community Corner kicks things off with a salute to Santa Clarita’s own Lady Flyers, an all-girls youth hockey team who was recently involved in a tragic accident in Colorado. The accident left several players injured and took the life of one of the father’s on the team.

The Lady Flyers made the difficult decision to continue competing in the tournament. The amazing and inspiring group of young ladies not only competed, but they won five games and took home the title of
2025–2026 Western Girls Hockey League Championship with an exciting 1–0 victory in overtime.
