Co-Hosts Carrie Lujan and Wayne Edwards, who’s filling in for Dave Caldwell, open the show by shining a spotlight on some recent community events that truly made an impact.

The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society celebrated its 50th Anniversary with “Live from Santa Clarita, it’s Saturday Night!” – a fundraising gala that included comedy sketches and parody segments inspired by local history. The evening was meant to feel like an episode of Saturday Night Live.

The co-hosts then segue into the fifth annual Trenton Irwin Football Camp, where a portion of the proceeds benefit Eaton Fire victims. The camp was open to both boys and girls and gave young athletes the opportunity to train with the pros in a fun and supportive environment. Irwin was a standout athlete at Hart High School and spent six years as a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals.
