In this opening segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, co-hosts Carrie Lujan and Dave Caldwell kick things off with some hoop happenings. The Master’s University’s men’s basketball season ended in heartbreak, falling to Rocky Mountain College 67-66 in the second round of the NAIA National Championship tournament. The Mustangs had their chance with 10.5 seconds left in the game. On the final drive and after plenty of physical play that went uncalled, the ball ended up in the possession of Rocky Mountain College, putting an end to the Mustangs’ magical season.

Lujan and Caldwell also hoop it up about March Madness. While Lujan uses her inside-the-paint instincts to complete her bracket, Caldwell is just looking forward to the exciting buzzer-beaters and unpredictability March Madness is known for. How’s your bracket looking?
