Co-hosts Carrie Lujan and Dave Caldwell open by congratulating Dr. Jasmine Ruys on her appointment as the new president of College of the Canyons, making her the fifth president since the school’s founding in 1968.

Ruys has more than 24 years of service and has has held numerous roles, including Director of Admissions and Records, Dean of Enrollment Services, and Assistant Superintendent/Vice President of Student Services.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from California Lutheran University, a master’s in educational counseling and has a PhD in organizational leadership from the University of La Verne.
