Yee-haw! It’s time to saddle up for a good time at a family-friendly event where the spirit of the Old West rides again! Carol Rock, Raising the Curtain board member, and President Nickie DeTolve, invite the community to “Cowboy Family Night,” Friday, April 17, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Newhall Family Theatre. The evening is one of several events kicking off the highly-anticipated Cowboy Festival. Event-goers can enjoy campfire stories and hear Western music come to life from award-winning festival favorites, including Joe Herrington and Joni Harms. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Proceeds from the event benefit Raising the Curtain Foundation’s mission to promote local arts and theater by bringing performances, events and creative opportunities to the community. To purchase tickets, mosey on down to https://cowboyfestival.org/schedule/. Want to see more from SCVTV’s Community Corner? Visit https://scvtv.com/category/community/communitycorner/.
