Come celebrate the city of Santa Clarita’s deep-rooted commitment to sustainability at the first-ever Tree-mendous Arbor Day Celebration, Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Valencia Heritage Park.

Valerie Ferchaw, urban forestry administrator, walks us through the family-friendly event, which includes tree and mulch giveaways, chainsaw carving demonstrations, information booths, fun activities for kids and the opportunity to bring home a furry new friend.

Attendees can also take advantage of a unique opportunity to be matched with the perfect tree or plant for their home and outdoor space.
