Glimpse some of the state of the art technologies at the annual Abilities Expo, a showcase of the latest products and services offered to persons with disabilities. Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, the event features interviews with determined individuals who continue to cycle, climb mountains and quite literally, take their first steps to overcome adversity, offering inspirational lessons for all of us. Watch Amanda Boxtel, the "Bionic Woman" walk upright on a special robotic device, meet Angela Madsen, a paraplegic who is determined to navigate the Pacific Ocean on her own using nothing but the power of her arms, and enjoy the fast paced sport of Power Soccer, which is played in wheel chairs by a diverse group of youngsters who won’t allow their disability to limit their opportunities.
