Antonovich Issues Statement on Metrolink Crash
LOS ANGELES COUNTY — Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich released the following statement following the tragic Metrolink crash in Chatsworth:
"Today, at 4:23 p.m., a Metrolink commuter train collided with a freight train causing both trains to derail near Stoney Point Park in Chatsworth.
"My office is monitoring the situation and is ready to commit any and all County resources needed to assist first responders in the rescue effort.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families."
