County Extends Contract to Provide Sheriff Law Enforcement Services at Magic Mountain
LOS ANGELES COUNTY — To deter crime, enhance public safety, and reduce the risk of terrorist activities, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has renewed a contract for the County’s Sheriff Department to continue providing law enforcement services to Magic Mountain at its theme park in Valencia, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
Currently, Magic Mountain contracts for one sergeant and four deputy generalists to provide a full-time on-site law enforcement presence at the park.
Magic Mountain will pay the cost for the services of the one sergeant and four generalist deputies in the amount of $758,208, plus any overtime related costs incurred by the Department.
