LOS ANGELES COUNTY Rolling lane closures will be in effect on various state routes and freeways, Sunday, February 15 through Sunday, February 22, for "AMGEN Tour of California," a multi-day professional bicycle race from San Francisco to Pasadena.
Stage seven of the race will take place Saturday, February 21, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Santa Clarita to Pasadena (Rose Bowl). The race will leave Santa Clarita and proceed on county roads to Angeles Crest Highway (SR-2). The north- and southbound Antelope Valley Freeway (SR-14) Sand Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road off-ramps will experience periodic closures due to this event.
Motorists are encouraged to tune into local radio stations for up to-the-minute freeway reports before starting out on trips. For more information, please call the Caltrans Public Affairs office at (213) 897-3656 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
