City Invites Residents to Participate in Commuter Parking Meeting
Santa Clarita's Transit Division is inviting residents to a public participation meeting on commuter parking on Saturday, January 24 at 11 a.m. at City Hall. The City is interested to learn local commuters' parking habits and hear their opinions on what is efficient and detrimental to the current parking system, as well as ideas on what can be done to improve it.
The City recently hired Walker Parking Consultants, who will be conducting a study to help the City manage its parking for maximum efficiency and costumer service. The evaluation will also determine how much parking may be required to accommodate commuters in the future.
The meeting, which will take place in Council Chambers, will give residents the opportunity to provide the City and Walker Parking Consultants with local perspective on commuter parking conditions in Santa Clarita.
City Hall is located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard. Residents who are unable to attend the meeting and would like to comment may contact Corie Hill, Administrative Analyst for the City's Transit Division, at (661) 295-6306. For more information please visit santa-clarita.com.
