AT&T Champions Classic (March 9-15)
    Valencia Country Club
    Some of the world's best golfers will take to the green March 9-15 for the At&T Champions Classic at one of California's most distinguished golf courses, the beautiful Valencia Country Club.

Volunteer Opportunity – At&T Champions Classic
    The At&T Champions Classic is looking for volunteers 18 years and older to assist with Marshals, Walking Scorers, Gold Channel, Practice Range, Transportation, Clubhouse Hospitality, and Hotel Hospitality. For those that serve more than 4 days will get a free Golf Day. Volunteers receive a badge, parking pass, guest passes and food vouchers. Camp Clarita Registration
    Camp Clarita provides recreational and creative opportunities for the youth of Santa Clarita. Camp includes activities such as games, crafts, drama, swimming, and field trips. Programs are available for children ages 3-14. Online registration begins March 17, mail-in registration starts March 23, and walk-in registration at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center begins March 30. "Grease" at the Pantages Theater (March 14)
    "Grease," Time Magazines 2007 pick for "#1 musical of the year," is rockin' across the country in a new production direct from Broadway. This trip includes transportation by bus and reserved mezzanine seating. For more information, please email trips&tours@santa-clarita.com.

Emergency Expo (March 21)
    Disasters do happen, so visit the Emergency Expo. Learn and enhance your level of preparedness with demonstrations and displays from various first responder agencies. This is an excellent opportunity for you to purchase emergency supplies and services. There will be a preparedness learning game and many opportunities to win prizes. Masters Swim Meet (March 21)
    This local Santa Clarita Masters Swim Club provides organized workouts with a coach, competitions, clinics, workshops, and social functions for individuals 18 years and older. On Saturday, March 21, at 9:00 am, watch local and regional swimmers compete in the United States Masters Swimming (USMS) at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center. Daddy Daughter Dance (April 4)
    Fathers invite your daughter, between the ages of five and ten, to an elegant formal evening where you both will dance the night away. Eggstravaganza (April 11)
    Grab your basket and join your local community in the search for goodies left by the E. Bunny at Central Park on Bouquet Canyon Road. The "Egg Scramble" begins promptly at 10:00 am. Earth Day (April 18)
    The City of Santa Clarita Earth Day Festival and 20th Annual Arbor Day Celebration will take place on April 18, 2009 from 10 am to 5pm at Central Park. This day celebrating the Earth will have a variety of activities, entertainment, and other components to it. Several themed zones will be present at the event including, solar, green building, health & fitness, non-profit groups, commercial vendors, government, green cars, and carbon free living. Dodger Day (April 19)
    In its 32nd year, the Santa Clarita Valley Dodger Day Committee invites you to enjoy a day out at the Los Angeles Dodgers stadium - LA Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies. Proceeds from SCV Dodger Day help support local schools and non-profit youth groups. Purchase tickets at The Signal Newspaper, KHTS 1220 AM, SCV WaMu Bank, City of Santa Clarita's Aquatic Center. Cowboy Festival (April 23-26)
    The best performers in western entertainment will celebrate the City of Santa Clarita 16th annual Cowboy Festival, April 23 – 26, 2009 with several events throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. On April 25 and 26, walk through an authentic Western movie set at Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio, enjoy performances by Cowboy musicians and poets, and dine on Cowboy cuisine.
