Vocalist Auditions Being Accepted for 2009 SCV Dodger Day
Winner Will be Chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers
The Santa Clarita Dodger Day Committee is accepting entries for City vocalists wishing to perform the National Anthem at the 32nd Annual SCV Dodger Day on Sunday, April 19, 2009. The Dodgers team will make the final decision on who will perform and will personally notify the winner.
All applicants must be Santa Clarita Valley residents. Individuals or groups of up to four may apply. Those interested in auditioning for the chance to perform before thousands of people at Dodger Stadium must submit an unedited video audition (VHS or DVD) of a personal performance of the National Anthem. Auditions may not be professionally recorded or edited in a studio.
Submissions must also include a short biography of each individual or group's background and singing experience and must be received at City Hall by April 3 at 5:00 p.m. Please send in original auditions- audition tapes and DVD's will not be returned.
