Disasters Do Happen
Santa Clarita residents are not strangers to disasters. Disaster strikes in many forms, and almost always without warning; the burden can consistently be mitigated when we anticipate, and do some important pre-planning activities.
The City of Santa Clarita will hold the 17th Annual Emergency Expo on Saturday, March 21 at College of the Canyons from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Emergency Expo, free of charge, is designed to help residents learn how to prepare for all types of disasters/emergencies by creating family plans, developing emergency kits, staying informed and more.
The event will educate and entertain, and it will feature games, demonstrations, interactive displays, shopping, and opportunities to win prizes.
