Summer Fun Offered at Camp Clarita - Registration Begins March 17
Variety of Activities Offered for Kids Aged 3-14
The City will begin accepting registration for Camp Clarita's summer 2009 program on Tuesday, March 17. Camp Clarita, which begins on June 15 and continues through August 7, offers a diverse range of programs for children ages 3-14 at a variety of locations throughout the City,
Wee Folks and Little Folks camps, half-day programs for 3-5 year olds, allow campers to participate in activities like arts & crafts, games, music, dance, water activities and more. Programs range from $107-$214 per session.
Ranger and Explorer day camps are offered for children in grades 1-3 and 4-6, respectively. Campers participate in fun-filled activities and weekly field trips to locations across Southern California. Camps are $158 per week for Monday-Friday programs and $124 per week for three-day Monday, Wednesday and Friday programs.
Voyager Camp is offered for 6th-9th graders and allows campers to visit local hot spots each day and participate in two-night camping trips. Monday-Friday Voyager programs are $214 per week. Three-day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) programs are $180 per week and three-day. Camping trips are $242 per week.
Online registration begins Tuesday, March 17 at 8:00 am., mail-in registration begins on Monday, March 23 and walk-in registration begins on Monday, March 30 at the Aquatic Center, located at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex. Online registration can be completed at campclarita.com. Submissions sent in via mail must be postmarked no earlier than March 21.
