One Night Only: Spring Break for Parents
City to Host "Kids Night Out"
Parents: are you in need of a break? Do you miss the days when you could plan a night out with no problem? The City of Santa Clarita is here to help! Kids from 4 to 11 years old are invited to attend a City-hosted Kids' Night Out on Saturday, March 28 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Kids' Night Out event, held in the Community Room at Santa Clarita Park, provides a fun and supervised environment for kids to enjoy food, a movie, crafts and games while you enjoy a relaxing, kid-free evening! Plus, you can rest assured knowing that all City staff leading the festivities for the evening are fingerprinted and CPR/First Aid Certified.
Kids' Night Out is not only a fun social event for kids, but it also provides an opportunity for parents to enjoy a night out on the town as a couple, with friends, relaxing alone at home and more.
The cost of admission is $18 for each kid in attendance. Registration is required and can be completed online at santa-clarita.com/seasons, by mail, or by walk-in at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center, located at 20850 Centre Pointe Parkway. The program description and registration form is also available in the spring Seasons magazine.
"The Kids' Night Out event is a wonderful way for parents to enjoy a kid-free evening," said Councilmember Laurie Ender. "Because there are so many activities planned, kids will have just as much fun as their parents."
Santa Clarita Park is located at 27285 Seco Canyon Road. For more information about the Santa Clarita Kids' Night Out, please contact Lisa Nikkila, Recreation Supervisor at (661) 284-1465, email childdevelopment@santa-clarita.com or visit santa-clarita.com.
