City Hosts Auto Theft Prevention Class
Auto Dealers and Auto Sales Representatives Encouraged to Attend
The City of Santa Clarita Sheriff's Business Alliance Program will host a FREE Auto Theft Prevention Class on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 1:00p.m. The class will be held at the Santa Clarita City Council Chambers, located on the first floor of City Hall.
The seminar will provide attendees with information on ways to prevent identity theft in a vehicle purchase, introduction to the Red Flag Warning System, ways to prevent check fraud when purchasing a vehicle and how to stop bad deals before they impact your business. The City of Santa Clarita Sheriff's Business Alliance Program offers the class at no charge to prevent auto dealers from unknowingly placing themselves at risk.
It is recommended that all auto sales businesses in the City of Santa Clarita send one or more representatives to attend the class. The curriculum is designed for auto dealership general managers, sales managers, finance managers, and sales representatives. This informational class will include a complimentary lunch.
City Hall is located at 23920 Valencia Boulevard. To RSVP for the class, send an email to RSVP@santa-clarita.com or contact Alicia Parra in the City's Economic Development Division at (661) 286-4071.
