The City of Santa Clarita's Street Sign Giveaway
Over 200 Old Street Signs to be Given Away to Local Non-Profits
The City of Santa Clarita is currently holding a free street sign give-away for over two hundred old City street signs to local non-profit (501C3) organizations. The City is donating the old green street signs, which have been replaced with blue ones featuring the City seal, to the non-profits for their individual fundraising needs.
The organizations can apply to receive a street sign(s) on the City's website by completing the online form. On the form, the organization will need to include information about what the organization will do with the sign(s) before the request can be processed. The local organizations may receive one or more street signs, as available.
The awarded organizations will be responsible for picking up the street signs at the City's Public Works yard located at 25663 Avenue Stanford. There are four different street sign sizes available, as follows: 18" x 6', 20" x 6', 30" x 6', and 35" x 6'. These street signs are double sided with two names. The street sign giveaway program is conducted on a first come, first served basis and is based upon qualifications as well.
