City to Host Enterprise Zone Workshop Sept. 3
Business Professionals Invited to Attend Free Event
The City of Santa Clarita will host an Enterprise Zone Workshop on Wednesday, September 3, from 9 a.m. to 10a.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall just in time for the September 15th Tax Extension Deadline for Businesses.
This free workshop will provide information about ways businesses located in the City of Santa Clarita can reduce or virtually eliminate their State Income Tax. With an economic slow down occurring across the nation impacting retailers and business owners alike, "local Santa Clarita businesses definitely have an advantage over their competitors when they utilize the tax credits available through the Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone," stated Mayor Bob Kellar.
"The Enterprise Zone saved us thousands of dollars that we can now pass on in savings to our customers," commented Michael Hause and Kris Hough of SCVBank. The net interest deduction benefit for lenders utilized by SCVBank is just one of the many ways local businesses can save with the Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone.
However banks and lending institutions are not the only success stories of the Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone. Salt Creek Grille Owner, Greg Amsler found success in what he commented was a very easy tax savings tool. "The Santa Clarita Enterprise Zone is so easy to use."
