Santa Clarita's Central Park Lights Up Scoreboard
Earlier this month the City of Santa Clarita installed the first softball scoreboard at Central Park on Championship Field #2. This new scoreboard will be used for league play and for tournaments that take place at the City's Central Park.
"The City is consistently putting efforts towards improving our parks and facilities. The new scoreboard is a testament to these efforts," said Mayor Pro-tem Frank Ferry.
Central Park, located in the heart of the City of Santa Clarita, offers amenities for residents of all ages such as baseball and softball diamonds, acres of soccer fields, a jogging path, a concession stand, picnic areas, and a designated child play area. Central Park is home to the City's dog park, Central Bark, and is a wireless internet HotSpot. Central Park also hosts several entertainment events throughout the year such as the renowned summertime Concerts in the Park series.
For more information about the many uses of the City's Central Park, please contact Cynthia Tarver, City Sports Recreation Coordinator at (661) 290-2246.
