It's time for the Junior Cabaret and you won't want to miss this 8th Annual fun-fest on Saturday, May 2. This year's theme is "Fairy Tales Can Come True" and you'll be treated to an evening of songs from your favorite Fairy Tale films, performed by the talented youth of the CTG! You won't stop smiling all evening! In addition to the terrific show, there's a petite buffet dinner, a no-host bar, and a fabulous silent auction. Funds raised from this event will go toward building our new Children's Theatre which will be housed in the historic Newhall Auditorium. Come and support these young people as they perfom to raise the funds for their new theatre! Tickets start as low as $15 for Juniors and Seniors, $20 for Adults for dinner and the show! The Santa Clarita Concert Band will be presenting their Spring concert at the CTG on Sunday, May 3 at 7:00 PM. Under the direction of Tim Durand, this year's program is Musical Gems and will feature a variety of music including the music of Benny Goodman, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Ragtime, light classics, Cowboy music and more! Nearly everyone will find examples of their favorite music and it's an evening the whole family will enjoy! Tickets are on sale through the CTG box office: $16 fpr Adults, $14 for Seniors (62 and over), and $9 for Youth (under 18). Call 799-2702 for your reservations!
AUDITION NOTICE: "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" needs performers of all ages for this family favorite being presented by The Santa Clarita Regional Theatre with performances at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at COC. Auditions are being held from 1:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, May 9 & 10 at the Canyon Theatre Guild. Please be prepared with 16 bars of a show tune, with your own accompaniment CD or tape (no voices on the track). You will also be asked to dance, so dress accordingly.
"Cinderella" auditions will be held on June 1 & 2, from 6 to 8 PM at the CTG. This is a large cast show with roles for a wide age range. Auditions will be cold readings from the script.
"Social Security" auditions will be held on June 8 & 9 from 7 to 9 PM at the CTG. This comedy has roles for 3 men and 3 women; ages from 40 to 80. Be prepared to read from the script.
