Don't sit home these next two weekends; save gas by taking the opportunity to enjoy the fabulous arts being offered in our own neighborhood:
(1) Thanks to the City of Santa Clarita, the Canyon Theatre Guild and Repertory East Playhouse are presenting, in collaboration, 4 performances of Shakespeare In the Park—The Taming of the Shrew. Admission is free. Pack a lawn chair, a picnic, and the kids, and come to Hart Park (24151 San Fernando Rd in Newhall). Shows are at 6pm on June 21, 22, 28, and 29. Enjoy an evening under the stars for one of the Bard's best!
(2) There are only two weekends left to see CTG's critically acclaimed production of "My Fair Lady." Don't miss this marvelous musical which will make you tap your feet, smile, and hum along to Lerner & Loewe's memorable music. Call the box office at 661-799-2702 for reservations. Shows are on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: June 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29. There are also matinees on both Saturdays & Sundays.
