Give to Others While Having Fun at 2009 Eggstravaganza
Santa Clarita parents and kids ages 1-10 years old are invited to attend the City's 2009 Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 11 at 10 a.m.
This year, The SCV Food Pantry will join the City and the Saugus Action Committee in accepting non-glass, non-perishable food donations at the Central Park event location.
The "Egg Scramble" begins at 10 a.m. when local kids will join in the search for goodies and prizes left by Mr. E. Bunny.
"The Eggstravaganza is a fun, family-friendly Santa Clarita tradition," said councilmember Laurie Ender. "This year, the community can give back while enjoying a beautiful spring morning at three of our great parks."
The 2009 Eggstravaganza is free to attend and no pre-registration is required. Mr. E. Bunny will be in attendance at all three locations and each park will be divided into different areas by age to ensure that everyone has a fun and fair time.
The SCV Food Pantry will be available at Central Park to accept non-perishable food, as well as monetary donations.
