Home Tour League Seeks New Members to Plan Holiday Events
VALENCIA, CA (February 16, 2009) — Each December, Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation's Home Tour League highlight the holiday season with the Holiday Home Tours and Gala — but the planning and coordination are year-round. The Home Tour League is extending an invitation to anyone interested in participating in the Home Tour tradition to a special evening of refreshments and information on Thursday, February 19, at 6:30 pm, in the hospital's Foundation Building, Rooms 4 & 5.
Membership in the Home Tour League, open to both men and women, is a wonderful way to support our local community hospital while making new friends and creating holiday magic! The Home Tour League asks for a minimum of one day per year of volunteer time — however, many individuals enjoy giving much more than that. Volunteer time can be customized to the individual's availability and talents!
An ongoing and very important function of the Home Tour League's holiday events is to raise proceeds to purchase specialty equipment benefiting Henry Mayo's women's and birthing services.
