Outpatient Lab Offers Convenience and Valet Parking
VALENCIA, CA (August 6, 2008) — Outpatients in Santa Clarita Valley needing their blood drawn for laboratory tests now have an even more convenient place to go. Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital has opened an outpatient phlebotomy site in Suite 102 of the Valencia Medical Office Building. The new lab site, located at the far east end of the hospital campus, is intended as a quick, convenient destination for patients needing physician ordered blood work. And to top it off, there's free valet parking service!
"This location is much more accessible," said Jonathan Miller, MPH, director of Henry Mayo's laboratory and pathology services. "The lab suite's outside door entrance is literally steps from the valet service drop-off—making it literally door-to-door."
All patient services are performed by courteous and experienced, licensed phlebotomy staff. Testing is performed by skilled clinical laboratory scientists who are licensed to perform complex testing and provide accurate, timely results using state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
"Most lab results are available to the physician the same or next day," Miller said. "Our goal is to provide physicians and patients with timely results so that physicians can quickly determine diagnosis and treatment plans."
The new site, located at 25775 McBean Parkway, Suite 102, in Valencia, is open Monday through Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. It is closed for 1 pm to 2 pm for lunch, and closed on Saturday and Sunday. Patients who prefer Saturday hours can visit Henry Mayo's outpatient lab located at 23929 McBean Parkway, Building F, Suite 107 on the hospital campus. Saturday service at this location is available 8 am to 12 noon.
