Providence Will Host Blood Drive Following Train Tragedy
What: Providence Health & Services will host a blood drive to help replenish supplies following last night's train tragedy. Several residents have called Providence Holy Cross Medical Center offering to donate blood to help patients injured in the Metrolink collision in Chatsworth. Fourteen victims have been treated at Holy Cross.

Background: Donors must be at least 17 years old, in good health and a minimum of 110 pounds. This is the inaugural run of a new Bloodmobile delivered last week to Providence. It has double the capacity of its predecessors to help improve efficiency for donors.
