2009 Memorial Garden Tour Coming Sunday, June 7
The fourth annual "Memorial Garden Tour" will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 10:00am to 5:00pm. We have assembled various gardens of all shapes and sizes that are scattered throughout Santa Clarita Valley. The gardens will range from the most incredible architectural design to the most humble cottage gardens. This is a self guided tour where your donation is a freewill offering.
Each individual garden will accept donations to the organization of your choice. Donations go directly to T*A*P*S and Wounded Warrior Project. These two non-profit organizations help and support families of our fallen and wounded heroes. During the day of the tour we will also have garden themed items to raffle off at designated gardens. Garden tour programs are available at: Green Thumb Nursery, Sunset Nursery, American Wholesale Nursery, Green Landscape Nursery and other participating businesses in the Santa Clarita Valley.

My inspiration to organize this garden tour is my son, PFC Cole William Larsen, who was killed November 13, 2004, while serving his country in Iraq. This tour is to honor my son along with all of our brave fallen and wounded heroes who have sacrificed for our country.
