Arson Suspect Burned by C.I.T. Operation
Early this morning deputies from the Community Interaction Team, (C.I.T.) arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for starting 17 small fires in the Valencia Northbridge area. Since February 2009, numerous trash receptacles and dog bag dispensers located on the paseos have been set on fire.
A series of intense operations conducted by deputies from C.I.T. resulted in an arrest this morning. The suspect, Tevin Gibson, M/19, resident of Saugus, was caught, on the paseo south of Rosemont Lane, Valencia, in the act of setting a trash container on fire. He was arrested for Arson and booked at Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, where he is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
