Traffic Advisory: Wednesday, July 30th, 2008 — Expect Delays
Traffic Investigation — Motorists should expect delays on Soledad Canyon Road between Crossglade Avenue and Luther Drive — Wednesday, July 30th, 2008, between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Traffic Office will be conducting a collision investigation on Soledad Canyon Road between Crossglade Avenue and Luther Drive on Wednesday, July 30th, 2008. The nature of the investigation will require traffic investigators to intermittently shut down traffic lanes between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The investigation will impact all lanes of traffic in both directions at various times. With a reduced number of traffic lanes at various intervals and potential detour patterns, traffic may be heavy at times and motorists should expect delays in both directions as the investigation is conducted.
The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station asks that motorists use alternate routes if possible and avoid the area during the indicated hours. The effected section of Soledad Canyon Road is between the two main thoroughfares of Whites Canyon Road and Sierra Highway. Whites Canyon Road and Sierra Highway should be used as main alternate routes around the closures to your destination.
