Deputies Attempt to Identify Forgery Suspect
Public assistance sought Detectives from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station Burglary and Theft team are seeking public assistance in identifying a man, who is being sought for questioning only, in connection with two incidents of Forgery. Both incidents occurred on Friday, June 6th, 2008, in the 18000 block of Soledad Canyon Road, Canyon Country, at Canyon Market and H & J Liquor Store, between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. In two separate incidents the man allegedly entered the stores and passed forged checks using fake or forged identification.
The man is described as an Hispanic male, 25-30 years old, 5'08"-5'10" tall, 160-180 lbs., dark hair, mustached, short goatee, and bushy eyebrows. The suspect was wearing a brown collared shirt with white stripes.
