Man Injured After Fall from Parking Structure
Monday, August 18, 2008 — 11:30 p.m. — Valencia:
A 21-year-old Stevenson Ranch man was severely injured Monday night after he apparently fell more than forty feet from the 4th floor of a parking structure at the Westfield Valencia Town Center. The man reportedly fell from a stairwell railing after sitting up on top of it in an apparent attempt to slide down. A friend who was with the man attempted to grab him but could not hold on.
The man was treated at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel and was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. His injuries are being described as serious and his current condition has not been released. There is no further information available at this time.
