Sheriff's Homicide Detectives are at the intersection of Lyons Avenue and Apple Street, Newhall, investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and died of his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and is being handled by the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department's Homicide Bureau.
