Early Morning Fight Leads to Stabbing
Tuesday, November 25, 2008 — 4:00 a.m. — Newhall:

One man is in custody and another is recovering at the hospital after an early morning fight between two brothers inside an apartment in the 24000 block of Newhall Ave, Newhall, escalated to a stabbing. Deputies responded to the location after a caller reported a disturbance. When they arrived, they found one man, MH/20, had been stabbed multiple times in the upper torso.
Deputies determined that the two men had reportedly been drinking alcohol and became involved in a heated early morning argument. One of the brothers was apparently complaining about the other brother making noise. The two began fighting and the suspect, Juan Bardomiano, MH/18, reportedly retrieved a knife from the kitchen and began stabbing his brother several times.
The victim was treated at the scene by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and was transported to a local hospital where he is undergoing additional treatment. His current condition is not known, but the wounds are not believed to be life threatening. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. He was treated for an eye abrasion and was booked at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on felony charges of Attempted Murder. He is being held in lieu of $1.000.000 bail pending future court proceedings.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time. -ref 21030
