WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) issued the following statement highlighting Veteran's Day tomorrow:
"Veteran's Day provides us all the opportunity to personally thank those who served our nation in the most extreme way, offering their lives to uphold the liberties and freedoms we value dearly. With America currently fighting two wars abroad, we are familiar with the sacrifices made by our military personnel on our behalf and we should all express our gratitude for their efforts throughout the history of this nation. Our veterans quite literally shaped the strength of our country and secured it as a world power.
