New Women's Soccer Team Holding Tryouts
The newest Womens Premier Soccer League Team (WPSL) — Premier Soccer Santa Clarita Valley (PSSCV) "ROOKS" — will be holding its first open tryout Saturday February 28, 2009 at Central Park.
To give as many women as possible the opportunity to try out, there will be 2 sessions: 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Anyone having any questions or planning to attend should contact PSSCV via email psscv2009@gmail.com.
This league is ideal for women that have completed their college eligibility and still want to compete in full sided matches at a very high level or curent college players that want to stay sharp through the summer. This is a non-pro team that will not put any players college eligibility under any question. The team will play matches from Apple Valley to San Diego during its 14-week schedule starting the end of May.
