Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers to Perform Oct. 18
The Santa Clarita Master Chorale is pleased to present the world-acclaimed Albert McNeil Jubilee Singers for its annual "Friends of the Santa Clarita Master Chorale" fund-raiser concert on Saturday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. at Valencia United Methodist Church, 25718 McBean Parkway, Valencia.
The Singers are a Los Angeles-based choral ensemble that has spent the last 40 years bringing the gifts of African-American folk music to audiences across the globe, from Caracas to Yugoslavia.
The group and its founding director Albert McNeil had its Walt Disney Concert Hall debut last March. They have performed in more than seventy countries and will offer well-loved favorites and new music that celebrates this rich and invigorating heritage.
