Attention Rock and Roll Fans
1964 Beatles Classic "A Hard Day's Night" Coming to "Flickers at the Junction"
The Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society is proud to present the Fab Four in their 1964 Smash Hit comedy "A Hard Day's Night," on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at DUSK, as part of the "Flickers at the Junction" film series. The film will be shown outdoors (weather permitting) at the historic Saugus Train Station in Heritage Junction, Newhall. Suggested donation is $5, which includes free popcorn!
A day in the life of the biggest rock and roll band of all time, the Beatles, is captured in their first film, 1964's "A Hard Day's Night." John, Paul, George & Ringo frolic and sing their way through the insanity that was Beatlemania at its height. This hilarious film is the standard by which every other rock and roll film has been judged since.
The Saugus Train Station is located at Heritage Junction (inside William S. Hart Park), at 24107 Newhall Avenue (formerly San Fernando Road), Newhall. Gates open at 6:00 PM and the film begins at dusk. Please bring lawn chairs and blankets.
