Blast from the Past: Disney 'Carmedy'
Herbie "The Love Bug" tears through The Walt Disney Co.'s Golden Oak Ranch in Placerita Canyon in this series of images from 1968. "The Love Bug" was the third-highest grossing film of 1968 behind "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Funny Girl" - and not far behind, either. Kubrick's film grossed $56.7 million domestically; Disney's "carmedy" grossed $51.3 million.
