Chilean Quake Prompts Tsunami Warning for SoCal Beaches
A Tsunami Advisory has been issued and remains in effect for the coastal areas of California from San Onofre State beach to Ragged Point (50 miles NW of San Luis Obispo). Start times estimated for the Los Angeles County beaches and harbors is 4:47 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17. No land flooding is expected.

The SCVSD operates two treatment plants, the Saugus Water Reclamation Plant (WRP) and Valencia WRP, which discharge highly treated water to the Santa Clara River.
