SCV Deputies Check Up on Registered Sex Offenders
In the seven days leading up to Halloween, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station Crime Prevention Unit deputies, assisted by reserve deputies, made compliance checks on more than 190 registered sex offenders in the SCV.

Half-gallon milk bottle from Green Pastures Dairy Farm at 27397 Bouquet Canyon Road - the future site of Saugus High School and the surrounding subdivision.
The origins of the dairy are a bit of a mystery, but it appears to have been started shortly after World War II by William J. Clark, a retired LAPD homicide investigator.
