Income Tax Service for Seniors
Once again IRS/AARP trained volunteers will be available to complete and file income taxes for seniors at the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street. They will be volunteering on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons starting February 11th through April 15th.
Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling Elaine at the SCV Senior Center, 661-259-9444. You are encouraged to make your appointment early as many seniors who waited until the middle part of March last year were unable to get appointments.
You must bring a picture ID (driver's license), a copy of your Social Security card or something with your name and Social Security number (1099SSA), and if available, last year's tax return, as well as 2008 tax information with you to your appointment. There is no charge for this service.
