Free Consumer Lectures & Services Offered
On Wednesday, August 6, Cardiologist Dr. Robert Horth will present current information on "Hypertension," from 1-2 p.m. in Activity Rooms 1 & 2 of the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street.
Other Consumer Lectures for August at the SCV Senior Center will be: Wednesday, August 13, "Skin Cancer," presented by Dr. Vijay Trisal, an oncologist from Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital.
On Wednesday, August 20, financial advisor Brian Cunningham will speak on "Safe Investments for Your Money & How to Tell the Difference."
On Wednesday, August 27, Dr. Gururaja, will speak on "Healthy Eating & Exercise" courtesy of Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.
All lectures are from 1-2 p.m. in Activity Rooms 1 & 2 of the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street.
In addition, the following free health clinics will be offered at the SCV Senior Center:
On Tuesday, August 5: Hearing Clinic from 10:30-11:30 a.m. courtesy of Audiology Associates in the Respite Office.
Free blood pressure screening takes place in Activity Room 3 each Wednesday from 12:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
