'Best Businesses to Work for in the SCV' Competition
Having difficulty attracting and retaining employees?
We are pleased to announce the inaugural "Best Employers to Work for in the SCV" competition. With 75 million American workers eligible to retire by 2011 and a very competitive employment environment, many Santa Clarita employers are looking for an edge. Finalists and winners of The Best Employers competition will have the opportunity to position themselves as "best in class" employers and attract potential employees who are already living in Santa Clarita and commuting to The San Fernando Valley or Los Angeles. To learn more, go to the official website at www.bestinscv.com
There is no application fee to apply. The application deadline is February 28, 2009. Employers will be judged in categories such as; work life balance, opportunities for career growth, compensation and benefits, training and development and company culture. Winners will be announced in May, and will be acknowledged at various business events and in local media such as KHTS Radio, The Signal and on the competition's website.
The Best Employers to Work for in the SCV competition is a collaboration between The City of Santa Clarita, College of The Canyons, KHTS Radio, Newleaf Training and Development, Optimize Inc., The Signal, The SCV Chamber of Commerce and Wildcat Technology Solutions.
