Mayor Bob Kellar to Install VIA 2009 Board of Directors
Santa Clarita Mayor Bob Kellar to officiate as newly elected officers installed on the Valley Industrial Association's board of directors
VALENCIA, CA (December 3, 2008) — Six incumbents won three-year terms in last month's Valley Industrial Association's board of directors election. Santa Clarita Mayor Bob Kellar will officiate the swearing in of new and returning board members into office at the next Valley Industrial Association luncheon on Tuesday, December 16 beginning at 11:45 a.m. at the Hyatt Valencia.
    Incumbents Julie Weith representing Custom Human Resource Solutions, Stella Pilarksi representing "I DO" Parties, Andy Pattantyus representing Strategic Modularity, Calvin Hedman representing Hedman Partners, Dr. Bruce Getzan representing College of the Canyons, and Anna Frutos-Sanchez representing Southern California Edison will begin their new terms in January.
    Re-elected members will join incoming Chairman of the Board Randy Moberg representing LBW Insurance & Financial Services and returning board members Jenny Ketchepaw representing Telesis Community Credit Union, James Davis representing Lockheed Federal Credit Union, Christine Van Scoy representing Studio e Valencia, Jeff Solomon representing All American Marketing Group, Andrea McAfee representing Bayless Engineering and Manufacturing, Connie Worden-Roberts representing SCV Transportation Management, Bill Kennedy representing Wingspan Business Consulting, Lois Bauccio representing the Child & Family Center, Peter Goossens representing The Loose Goose, and Dan Goetz representing UntraViolet Devices, Inc.
    Outgoing Chairwoman of the Board Julie Weith will present her closing address, while Randy Moberg, incoming chairman of the board, provides an overview of his vision for 2009.
    The business luncheon is open to the public. Cost is $40 for VIA members and $50 for non-members. Reservations for the December 16 luncheon should be received by Thursday, December 11 and can be made by calling VIA at (661) 294-8088 or by visiting www.via.org.
