Your Guide to Public Performances in the Hart School District
The end of the school year always brings a wealth of music, drama and dance to schools in the Hart School District. Most of the performances are open to the community at little or no admission cost. Information on a specific performance can be obtained by calling the school and asking for the presenting department; e.g., Dance, Drama, Instrumental or Vocal Music.
March 7 — District Honor Band concert with guest conductors Gary Gilroy, CSU Fresno, and Dan Bochard, professional trombonist — 7:30 p.m., Hart Auditorium. Tickets are $10.
March 10 — Valencia High School hosts the SCVA Vocal Jazz Festival, featuring 10 groups from the Southern California area — 1:30 to 6 p.m., VHS Theatre, admission free. The PST Jazz Singers from Cal State University, Long Beach, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. — VHS theater, admission $5.
March 11 — Spring concert featuring choirs from West Ranch High School and Rancho Pico Junior High — 7 p.m., Rancho Pico multipurpose room. Cost, $6. Contact Molly Peters at
