Zonta Offers Free Series of LifeForward Workshops for Women
With last year's Breakthrough to Success workshop series a phenomenal and well-attended success, Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley has expanded the series for 2009 to include five workshops instead of three. All Santa Clarita Valley women are invited to attend this free series to learn how to restore personal power and bring order to stressful lives.
The LifeForward workshop series theme has been designed to awaken the excellence that lies within each individual woman. Zonta is hosting the workshop series with various guest speakers.
Upcoming workshops are scheduled for Feb. 28, March 21, April 4 and May 16. All workshops are free and will be held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Valencia Library, 23743 W. Valencia Blvd.
The Theme for the 2009 series is LifeForward: Believe, Build, Be: Believe in your unlimited power and potential, Build the skills necessary to succeed, Be the powerful woman you are meant to be!
Future topics to look forward to are:
February - Economics: Gain mastery of self-sustaining money management skills, budgeting, and understanding credit scores and how to improve or repair them.
March - Communication Skills and Relationships: Enhance interpersonal relationship skills at home and at work
April - Health: Covers a multitude of tips for nutrition, wellness, and fitness for maximum vitality.
May - Employment: Learn about transferable skills, interviewing skills, resume preparation, and local resources for job search.
