ABOUT PAUL STRICKLAND
A Santa Clarita resident since the 1980s, Paul Strickland is a member of the Santa Clarita Arts Commission and the William S. Hart school board. He recently served as field deputy to Assemblyman Cameron Smyth.
But don’t let the politics fool you. His background is in the film and television business as an animation producer of children’s television programs. His résumé includes 16 as head of computer animation and animation checking at Hanna Barbera Productions; 3 years as head of production at Warner Bros.; 2 years as vice president of production at Universal Cartoons; 3 years as director of overseas production at Marvel Films; 5 years as animation producer at Saban Entertainment; 2 years as animation producer at Fox Family Network; and 1 year as a producer at ABC Family Network.
